I too have just got my seed potatoes and like you am putting them into egg trays so they “chit” ….particular fan of “Jazzy” ( second early)
BRRRR!!! my allotment is calling me…. Still sprouts and leeks to pick …and I’m wrapped up, ready to go but can’t quite drag myself there today and who will eat all those celebrations sitting on the kitchen table !! 🌻
Libby you are spot on – it’s still chocolate-eating season rather than primetime for outdoor pottering. Think you can give yourself a ‘note from your mum’ excusing your allotment attendance till it gets just a little warmer! 🤣
